Open Access Policy
Open access refers to the unrestricted availability and free access to scholarly research outputs, such as articles, papers, and data, on the internet. It allows anyone, regardless of their affiliation or location, to read, download, copy, distribute, and use research materials without financial or legal barriers.

Creative Commons License
The BAP Journals articles are made open access online and freely accessible, immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license which allows others to freely use, distribute, remix, and build upon the licensed work, even for commercial purposes, as long as proper attribution is given to the original author(s). This means that everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of all articles published in BAP and everyone is free to re-use the published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is given.

Advantages of Open Access for Authors

Openly accessible articles in BAP can reach a broader readership, including researchers from different disciplines, policymakers, educators and practitioners, which can lead to increased citations and impact for the author's work.

3. Rapid Dissemination - Open access facilitates the rapid dissemination of research findings. BAP removing subscription barriers, research becomes available immediately upon publication, allowing for faster dissemination and potential collaborations with other researchers working in the same field.

4. Public Engagement and Knowledge Transfer - Open access promotes engagement with a broader audience beyond academia. BAP enables researchers to share their findings with policymakers, practitioners, educators, and the general public, promoting knowledge transfer and encouraging practical applications of research.

5. Preservation and Long-term Access - BAP Open access repositories and platforms provide robust archiving and preservation mechanisms. This ensures that the research remains accessible in the long term and can be referenced and cited reliably over time.
